Çukurova Electromobile team was founded by ADANA (AA) - Çukurova University (ÇU), Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering students.

Two-seater electric car is named "1,5 Adana" which can travel about 150 kilometers with 1 lira of energy is designed in 2013 and won 4 TUBITAK award. In addition, Çukurova electromobile team was the number 1 among 23 teams participated from 5 different countries to "Shell Eco-marathon in Turkey" competition.

1,5 Adana electric car won TUBITAK Alternative Energy Vehicle Competition award in 2014, TUBITAK Promotion award in 2015, TUBITAK Design award in 2016 and the TUBITAK championship award in 2017.
